1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Czech Cookbook Circle website, membership services, recipe videos, accounts, and related content.

By accessing the website, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Czech Cookbook Circle membership

Czech Cookbook Circle provides members with access to an online collection of Czech cooking videos, recipes, stories, techniques, and related educational content.

Available content may change over time. We may add, update, replace, reorganize, or remove content as the membership library develops.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for activity occurring through your account.

• Each membership is intended for one individual user.
• You may not share, sell, transfer, or lend your account.
• You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may not create an account using false information.

Users under the age of 18 may use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Subscription plans and payments

Czech Cookbook Circle may offer monthly, annual, or other membership plans. Current prices and billing terms are shown before checkout.

Recurring billing

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method on file at each billing interval until the subscription is canceled.

Price changes

We may change membership prices in the future. When required, existing members will receive notice before a new price applies to a future renewal.

Payment processing

Payments may be processed through a third-party provider such as Stripe. Your use of that payment service may also be subject to the provider’s terms and privacy policy.

5. Cancellation and access

You may cancel a recurring subscription through your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally terminate access immediately.

Unless otherwise stated, you will retain access through the end of the billing period already paid. Access will end when that period expires.

Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel an active recurring subscription. Cancel the subscription before requesting account deletion.

6. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in a separate refund offer, membership payments are generally non-refundable after access to digital membership content has been provided.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us promptly so we can review the transaction.

7. Educational and cooking information

Ingredients may cause allergies or sensitivities. You are responsible for checking ingredients, labels, dietary requirements, food allergies, equipment instructions, and safe food-handling practices.

Cooking times, temperatures, ingredient availability, and results may vary. Always follow appropriate food-safety guidance and use reasonable care with knives, heat, appliances, raw ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and membership content, including videos, recipes as presented, photographs, graphics, branding, written materials, downloads, page designs, and other original content, belong to Czech Cookbook Circle or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

An active membership grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the content for private, noncommercial use.

You may not:

• Copy, record, download, or redistribute videos.
• Share members-only content or login credentials.
• Upload membership content to another platform.
• Sell, license, or commercially exploit our content.
• Remove copyright or ownership notices.
• Use automated systems to extract website content.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to bypass membership or payment restrictions.
• Interfere with website security or operation.
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful technology.
• Access another person’s account without permission.
• Harass other users or misuse communication features.

10. Suspension or termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, account sharing, fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, infringement, or a material violation of these terms.

Termination for a violation may result in loss of access without a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Service availability

We work to keep the website available, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, hosting interruptions, internet problems, third-party services, or events beyond our reasonable control.

12. Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, video providers, hosting services, and external websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and membership content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee specific cooking results, uninterrupted access, or that every error will be corrected immediately.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Czech Cookbook Circle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or membership content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
